1lb ground sausage

6c broth

1 large turnip, cubed

½ yellow onion, diced

2 cloves garlic, minced

2 1/2cups spinach

1tsp cayenne pepper

1 tsp garlic powder

splash of apple cider vinegar

salt and pepper to taste

 

In a large pot cook the sausage. Once browned add the onion and garlic. Cook for 4 minutes. Add broth, seasonings and turnip. Bring to a boil and cook for 20 minutes until turnip is soft. Add a splash of ACV and spinach. Cook for an additional 3 minutes until spinach is wilted. Serve and Enjoy. Makes 4 servings.
